The Samsung Galaxy A57 has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database, following a regulatory listing seen last week. The updated entry now includes official images, offering an early look at the phone’s design ahead of its official launch. The TENAA appearance confirms the device’s existence and provides the first visual insight into Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone. The Galaxy A57, which was earlier listed on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy A37.
Samsung Galaxy A57 Design and Expected Features
In the newly surfaced TENAA images, the Samsung Galaxy A57 is shown in a purple or lavender colour option. The handset closely resembles the Galaxy A56 in design but features a slimmer and lighter body. According to certification details, the phone measures 6.9mm in thickness and weighs 182 grams, marking a noticeable reduction compared to the Galaxy A56’s 7.4mm thickness and 198-gram weight.
The Galaxy A57 retains Samsung’s signature vertical camera module along with the familiar Key Island design that houses the power and volume buttons. Its slimmer profile reflects Samsung’s evolving design approach, which is also expected to be seen in future flagship models such as the standard Galaxy S26. The TENAA images do not reveal clear display characteristics, leaving details such as bezel thickness unconfirmed.
As per the TENAA listing, the Samsung Galaxy A57 features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels and support for 16 million colours, suggesting the use of an AMOLED panel. For security, the device includes an in-display fingerprint sensor as well as face recognition functionality.
On the performance front, the Galaxy A57 is expected to be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.9GHz, which is likely to be the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset. The smartphone may be offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations, paired with up to 256GB of internal storage.
Camera specifications listed on TENAA include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, accompanied by 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, the device is expected to house a 12-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy A57 is also listed with a 4,905mAh-rated battery, which is expected to translate to a typical 5,000mAh capacity, along with support for 45W wired fast charging.
