Microsoft Office 365 is one of the most frequently used platforms by various organizations. It provides numerous services which make easy for the user to manage their work and communication process in a seamless manner. Through this blog, I am going to share one of my experiences when I was facing issues while migrating Office 365 tenant to another tenant. I know there are numerous people who are also struggling with the same problem. Therefore, with the help of this blog, I am going to provide a simple and reliable solution to them using which they can perform Office 365 tenant to tenant migration easily.

My organization is using Office 365 from so many years for the business-related work. One day my team leader assigned me a task to migrate Office 365 tenant to another tenant. Now, for me, this task was difficult as I had never done such type of migration earlier. Then I started browsing on the Internet. After spending so many hours on research work, I found one step by step solution to migrate Office 365 tenant to another tenant. The manual method which I found on the Internet is given below.

The user has to full fill some requirements before performing the migration process. Once the user has followed the set of requirements and other necessary things then he/she can move towards the migration process.

Set of Requirements

For MS Outlook 2013 and 2010: Delete account of MS Outlook.

For Microsoft Outlook 2007 and 2010: When the user is restarting Outlook, the client will configure by auto-discover and will create the OST file once again.

For Lync Clients: Add all the contacts after the completion of the merging process.
