Samsung has unveiled several key features of the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, including Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for display protection and a 200-megapixel main rear camera. The phone will also support Galaxy AI features. Set to launch on May 13, the slim device will be part of the Galaxy S25 series. Ahead of the official release, multiple details and accessories for the phone have surfaced online.
Leaked marketing materials, reportedly shared by Android Headlines, show the Galaxy S25 Edge in three color options. Earlier reports suggest these shades are Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Silver and will feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with 2x optical zoom, accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with autofocus and a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The phone is expected to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The display will feature slim, uniform bezels with a centered hole-punch cutout and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The images also hint at the phone’s slim profile, with a thickness of 5.85mm and a weight of 163g.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to run Android 15-based One UI 7 and feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone may include a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging support, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
Additionally, the report reveals leaked images of accessories like an anti-reflective screen protector and protective cases, including silicone, transparent silicone, and ‘Kindsuit’ cases in black, blue, and grey. The Galaxy S25 Edge will likely come with a SIM ejector tool and a USB Type-C to Type-C cable in the box. The phone is expected to be priced at EUR 1,249 (around Rs. 1,19,000) for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model may cost EUR 1,369 (around Rs. 1,30,000). It is set to launch globally on May 13 at 9 AM KST (5:30 AM IST).
