Finally, Kaspersky Lab, a Russian cybersecurity and antivirus company is now LIVE with the “Hackproof” OS. This OS is Based On Microkernel. Company’s CEO Eugene claims in a blog post that this is the result of 14-Years of hard work.
They name the OS as 11-11. It’s the secure operating system aimed at network devices, IoT, industrial control systems. They are stating that it doesn’t have even the slightest smell of Linux.
It’s one of the feature is that, Kaspersky OS being non-Linux as so it should not be compared with Linux. The operating system is based on microkernel architecture. So that the OS can be custom-designed as per requirements by using different modification blocks. Kaspersky published a whitepaper where the biggest and best features have listed and available on the OS.
Inbuilt security system which can control application behavior and OS modules is an another highlighted feature. The price of the OS vary according to the needs and application.
