Google is now giving Gemini subscribers the option to create personalized chatbots known as Gems. These chatbots can be tailored with unique traits by providing specific instructions. Users just need to name the chatbot, set its guidelines, and begin using it. “You can create and save Gems to customize responses in Gemini Apps according to your needs,” Google stated.
For users who don’t want to create their own personalized chatbot, Google will offer pre-made Gems. These customized chatbots are especially helpful for repetitive tasks, as they remove the need to provide instructions each time.
Google first introduced Gems at its I/O event in May, and they are now being rolled out to Gemini Advanced, Gemini Business, and Gemini Enterprise users on both mobile and desktop. The Gems feature is a paid service available in over 150 countries and more than 30 languages.
