The main weakness faced by Android smartphones are battery life & update frequency. And now too it is this same problem that Asus addresses with its new device.
Idle battery drop is important for a phone that has to last long and Zenfone 3s Max is beyond average.
Zenfone 3s Max looks the same aesthetically and frustrating as ever. Overall, the phone is slow whether it be gaming, fingerprint scanning or even opening apps. It has a reliable camera but not the best and phones like Honor 6x can beat it.
Layered with a new version of Asus ZenUI, it runs on Android Nougat. The other specifications are; Screen 5.2 inch(720×1280)IPS PPI:282, Camera 13MP rear, Battery 500mAh, SoC MediatekMT6750 octacore(1.5GHz), RAM 3GB, GPU Mali TB60, Storage 32GB (up to 2TB), Weight 175gms. The phone returns an excellent PCMark battery score of over 14 hours. In spite of these specifications, its performance is not the best.
The Asus Zenfone 3s Max is a decent battery centric smartphone & it does last long. Rs.14,999 is sensible for it yet Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a better camera and performance and just an hour or so lesser battery life.
